Booga Red`s Restaurant in Springerville

Super friendly staff and nice, down to earth feel. This restaurant is probably one of the town's best. I stopped here on a whim, as I passed through on a road trip. The food isn't as authentic Mexican as I expected, but still good.

THE best restaurant in Round Valley! The service is always great. We went on a holiday weekend and had a very short wait time for our food. The tacos here are phenomenal.

The menu online is not updated. I ordered a chili relleno dinner listed for$8.95 and a half taco plate for $7.95 When I picked up the order it cost me $22.13 and $10.43 More than the 10% COVID charge they have posted on the door. Almost double the advertised price. And to top it off it didn't even taste good

Always great food. The deep fried cheese crisp. . Chimi is on small size, but packed with meat. Hubbys combo plate, well he left some on the plate as we waddled out.

Fast, friendly service, great atmosphere, and FANTASTIC food! The choice of music was perfect too, and I think this is gonna be our new favorite breakfast spot! The biscuits and gravy are to die for, and the chicken fried steak is hands down the best I've ever had. Can't wait to go back and try the lunch/dinner fare!

The food was good, but I accidentally left my debit card there for 5 minutes and it was compromised with fraudulent charges shortly after that. Too bad the staff is not trustworthy. I am never going back.

Food was good but the staff was all talking on phones not paying attention to customers. All young and no experience. However the restaurant was nice clean dining area clean. Cantina was desperate from dining are. It is worth the food. Staff needs focus on customers.

I have been eating at Booga Red's for over 20 years. Now with the end of the restaurant restrictions, my wife and I were going to go eat a late lunch. Right up until we got to the front door and saw they were going to tack on an extra 10%.Through the years, my tips were never less than 20%. We left, and won't be going back. I'm not sure how this will help their business, having long term customers refusing to patronize them.We went to Avery's, guess what no add to the cost.

I always get the taco salad, just didnt taste right the other day. Usually they are fabulous.

It was okay. We really didn't eat much since we had a big breakfast. The salsa was good, the chips from a bag maybe. Husband loved his grilled ham and cheese but man traveling with us thought it was too salty. His wife didn't care for the chicken tortilla soup. But the staff was friendly and attentive, restrooms clean.

Been going here since I was a kid, I left and came back 19 years later, the food is still top of the line, which says alot becuase we know good mexican food. Green chile still over the top amazing. Friendly

Went for breakfast. I had the Chicken Fried Steak and my wife had huevos rancheros. We were happy with the meal but nothing about it was earth shattering.

We stopped in for lunch and I was very pleased with the service and food. They brought us chips and salsa to start, the standard of most Mexican restaurants. I was pleased that the chips were fresh and warm from the fryer: thin and crisp with a good amount of salt. The salsa was good but did not have any heat at all. We asked for a hot salsa and they brought a green salsa which was tasty and hot. I had the Chicken Taco Salad which was basic and good. The tortilla bowl was fresh and crisp, the beans were pleasantly seasoned, and the white meat shredded chicken was simple and good. You won’t find any really adventurous dishes here: just standard, freshly prepared, good tasting food!

About as hometown comfort as you can get. Staff and patrons are super friendly and the breakfast tastes like your mama made it. The bacon tastes smoky and fried (like bacon should!) The prices are very reasonable, and if you stay at the motel across the street, you get a 10% discount on your food.

My wife grew up in round valley, so everytime we visit we head to Booga Reds. The service has always been outstanding, and the food is amazing, especially the green chili. This restaurant is now part of my family's tradition.

We love the food. They tend to close early, so if you're a late eater be there by 7.

Very clean good food

One of the better restaurants in the small town.. it is more or less a Mexican restaurant but a nice one, very roomy, clean nice atmosphere, I have no complaints concerning the food or the service. most of the year just out of the window is a very large snow covered mountain in which has a ski resort a top.

I make it to Springerville at least once a year. There are a number of very good restaurants in the area, and Booga Reds is very high on that list. We never fail to take advantage of their great food, service and friendly staff. Two thumbs up 👍👍

Tasty food, service was good, country music on the radio, interesting place

Service and the food were amazing! The Green chili is out of this world and I don't even want to know if the salsa is a jar or can because it is so tasty and fresh it must be homemade. The serving size is big enough to enjoy there and have some left over for home. The Ranch dressing is by far the best I've ever had. We're only traveling through but I would without a doubt eat here all the time if I lived in the area. Sorry no photos of the food, we were so hungry and the food was too yummy to stop and take photos!
